We're back in the snow for this Valentine's Day here in Lansing. We've got about 2" of new snow on the ground this morning. That was a cruel joke Mother Nature played on us this last week with 60 degree temps.

...and the snow is still coming down...sigh....

Top o' the mornin' on this snowy Valentine's Day. Got home from Texas just as the snow started here last evening. What a stab of reality! Had a good safe trip and renewed many friendships of fellow Winter Texans and Rockport locals. Such nice people I know. Now back to reality. Next trip I hope to go to the UP next fall...I can do it! Have a pleasant day ya'all. :)

Good Morning, All! Happy Valentine's Day to you & yours. :-)

Tuesday was a heavenly day here in mid-Michigan, with a record high temp of 58. It was so warm that I had totally changed the air in my car, from heat over to cold vent (not a/c). On Thursday, the weather was a cruel jolt back to reality, complete with cold, humid, windy conditions. When my husband and I got in the car, he couldn't figure out why the vent was blowing frigid air! He about choked when he saw where I had the temperature set, because I haven't had it set on cold in early February in the almost 30 years that we've lived here!

Alas, we are back to the old normal temps again, complete with snow. At least we had one glorious day to remind us that spring will be here in 2 or 3 months! :-)

I bet the youngster from 2004 is not quite as anxious to shovel snow now, when he's five years older ("Aww, do I have to?"). And do you realize those kids from 2001 would be seniors in high school this year? Sigh, time flies!

Hope everybody had a great Valentine's Day! We went to the Ambassador for some ravioli!!! Delicious!!! Was gonna be Lindell's today, but they're only open from 10-2 for a breakfast buffet and we plan on going to the Douglas House with my 100 year old aunt for breakfast. Maybe next time.

Yummmm....ravioli sounds really good. I stayed home and watched the movie Vicki Cristina Barcelona. Don't bother, it was very dissapointing. There were some pretty big stars in it but I don't think this movie helped their careers at all. Oh, well....Happy Day After Valentine's Day! The sun is shining...that's a good thing.

Cindy, just had ravioli for dinner. Been sleeping all day and decided to have dinner just now. Came from Alex's in Berkley the food did, not me. Now I will be up all night. Oh well wont be listening to Precious purring all night. Maybe Jimmie the fat white cat will keep me entertained.
