Which two photos in today's decade review were also used in 'Day in History'?

Good Morning!!

2002 sunrise and 2003 sunrise photos

It takes a minute to play the decade review, and it takes a minute to watch 'Day in History'. That gave you about 5 seconds to type your answer. Some kind of record :o)

I guess I was in the right place at the right time!! ;-)
I now have my bird for the week. I relinquish to the other users; good luck everyone!!

Good Morning! Congratulations, Capt Paul, way to go!

There are some really cool pictures for today, from the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse (one of my favorites), to the sunrises, to the cute little dog, who is not sure about being all bundled up like that, etc!

More nice Memory Lane. Love the lighthouse pic, 2.

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Monday, February 9, 2009 - 06:03 pm:

If you want an adventure to see the Natural Wall, you can start at the lower snowmobile trail and hike up that creek until you get to the Wall, which is what Karl may have done??

The Dr. and I are going to the Wall this summer to get some photos and look at rocks...... after we ask permission, of course; the Wall is on private property.

By Roger (Rog1) on Monday, February 9, 2009 - 07:13 pm:

When I was a kid I hiked to "Natural Wall" many times. There was even a neat old sign by the road and a trail through the pasture. The public access was probably lost due to littering, vandalism or the threat of lawsuit if someone got hurt, like what happened with the access to Douglas Houghton Falls.

Anyway, there were lots of local stories about the origin of the "wall". So, Capt. Paul - inquiring minds want to know: is the formation in fact "natural", and, do you think it went all the way across the ravine at one time?

My wife and I just returned from Winter Carnival today and the statues were great, although not as much detail as some years. But the weather was fabulous over the weekend; sunny and warm (hi-20's & lo-30's) everyday.

Rather than just write it all out again, I'll just post the link to the 2007 Cam Notes where I described the Wall in great detail:

Good morning! It's a very icy drive into work today after all the rain we got yesterday. They were predicting thunderstorms but we avoided those.

Have a great day everybody!
