Over the past 10 years, this day has the distinction of having the fewest contributing photographers. How many were there? (not counting Brita Haapla with today's memorial)

One of those rare moments captured on the Bridge Cam this morning, when all four beacons on the top lit up at the same time:

Why is it a rare moment that all 4 beacons are lit on the liftbridge?

Is it a rare moment that the camera captured all 4 beacons lit at the same time?

Good morning! The last day of the month has the best decade in review pictures. And you can't ever go wrong with a picture of that great bridge.

I'm with mickill though, why is it rare?

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Saturday, January 31, 2009 - 09:31 am:

I bet those 4 beacon lites were much trickier to catch than a litehouse lite. Looks like a great turn out for the Make A Wish snowmobile ride judging by the Ramada's parking lot. Oh if my work schedule could have been different..sigh! Maybe next year.

Beautiful review today!

Sometimes we say we're getting tired of Winter, but with today's Memory Lane pics here, that might be sometimes hard 2 say. These are great. All Winter scenes.

Meatloaf dinner tonight at church with my hubby and son-in-law cooking. Homemade pies, too. How does that sound for a mid-winter's eve?

Bobbysgirl: See my post on Friday's page for an answer to your question about Vickie working at the Gay Bar.

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Saturday, January 31, 2009 - 01:17 pm:

Debi, Thankyou for Vicky's update. She sure did have her own special way! One snowmobile vacation time hubby and I stopped in for something to eat. On the wall was a menu, pointing at that menu, I ordered the cheeseburger, she ripped the menu off the wall and said, "We don't serve food". Oh my Gosh! I just busted up laughing, it was so funny! So we had a pop and talked a bit with her and a bear hunter who was having a beer.

Marsha--Sounds wonderful. Real comfort food. We were
supposed to have our Games Night at our church tonight. Games
and desserts, but it was cancelled because of the inclement
weather (Snow ????--Not new snow, just the amount of snow on
the ground). It"s been postponed until April. Sigh.

By mickill mouse (Ram4) on Saturday, January 31, 2009 - 06:58 pm:

I remember seeing a picture of the liftbridge all lit up by the lights on the bridge. The lights by the water were on, the floodlights were on the top level and the bottom level of the bridge were on. It just looked like every floodlight was turned on. I saw it from the camera.
