As if capturing a candid moment on a walk UP North with his best four-legged friends wasn't enough, Aladino Mandoli threw into the photographic mix, an abundance of great shadows too. The same goes for his second shot showing the sun shining at the end of the road he's traveling. Great examples of the shadows you experience at different times of the day, with the late afternoon sun casting the woodsy shadows in the top photo and the morning sun stretching them across the road in the bottom one.

Looking at those fur coats on those dogs,they're dressed properly for that winter walk!

Our 13 year old Golden Retriever loves the winter snow. Macky heads right for the deer feeder to eat the food. He loves to play with the frozen apples, he thinks they are his winter tennis balls. The deer scatter when we come out but he thinks they are quite interesting and wants to play.

I took a look through the albumns, & the road picture is part of the sledding/giant snowman/snow outhouse series that we saw in the recent past. In another albumn ("Stuff") I saw what looks to be an Alaskan Malamute; is that dog still around? The ones in the picture are nice & look like they're having fun, but I bet the Malemute would love the snow.
