This little sweetheart, photographed by Bob Emmert, is all decked out in pink, right down to her snazzy snowshoes. She's styling and at the same time ready for some fun exploring where normal boots just can't go. Snowshoeing is a great way to get outside and enjoy the Keweenaw winter, breaking trails like the second photo by Julie Filipowicz. Of course it's easier to follow behind someone else who's trampling down the fluff for you, but either way, snowshoeing is a lot of fun.
On a sidenote, it takes a lot to make a webpage like Pasty.com possible and one of those things is our many sponsors. Bob Emmert (the guy who snapped the "Pretty in Pink" photo today) might not be a familiar name, until you hear his business name, Bissonette's Sew and Vac. Bissonette's is one of our longest running sponsors, whom we don't publicly thank often enough. So, thank you Bob and the rest of the businesses on our pages. You can visit all of them by clicking the names on either side of the Main Pasty Central page. You'll be amazed at the offerings you'll find there.

Those shoes are pretty snazzy. Do they come in a pump? (The prom will be here before you know it.)

A frigid 7 degrees here in Richmond, Virginia this morning. But, alas we have NO snow. Stay warm everyone. Even my goldfish are at the bottom of their bowl this morning.

It is snowing like crazy here. It is coming across from the south. My sweetie, Mr. Bill, just went out to shovel the walk. He is such a good man. ;O)

Snowshoeing is lots of fun in the CC. The woods are eerily silent. I still have fond memories of an occasional snowshoe trek in the winter. Bring a lunch and have a winter picnic!!!

I guess there aren't many wild animals in the winter there...ones that could hurt humans...I've never been up there but I do know when an animal is hungry or sick stay out of his way! Get thee farrrrrrrr off........
