Well Brooke, I hope your Mother don't need to get out and drive tonight or in the morning. I was out on 640 and I - 40 to Cedar Bluff on route to Park West Hospital and it was horrible! Thursday has the most truck traffic in this area then any other day of the week, and with the hard rain with the wipers on full, there were many white knuckle drivers out there getting splashed. On the TV news just now some lanes are closed where I was with the road giving way. I did see where a small car ran off into that big pot hole at 4:00 p.m. There were blue lights from Police cars making you get over into the other lanes. Now we have a Winter Storm Watch Warning with snow on the way say's Matt Hinken from WATE TV 6. I said it would be a Hoot, not that I would enjoy it. It is going to get cold and this rain is going to turn to Snow with out a doubt overnight.
