Does the Hubbell Fire Dept. still decorate for Christmas? The last couple of times we've gone UP during the holidays, I didn't see a lot of lights. It was disappointing, but I suppose the economy if affecting everything.

Good morning everybody! Have a great December Monday! This is my favorite winter month. I love the holidays. And my house is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I can't believe it's December already...Holy Wah! Only two more pay days until Christmas.

Woo-hoo! I've got a snow day! Schools are closed everywhere around here, even though I'm on a main road & it's clear. Got lots of snow starting at 2:00 yesterday & more coming today. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! It's nice to have my four-day weekend extended. Now I might actually get something done other than preparing for Thanksgiving & cleaning up from Thanksgiving!

I just saw your note Mikie about the new addition to your household. I had a Japanese young lady for a short time a couple of years ago. It's a great experience for everyone involved. You are definitely good people!! Way to go!!

The last guest we had for Thanksgiving left Sunday at 4 p.m. We sat 13 guest's and 4 children under 5, and 3 plates out the door. Thankful they all could be here. One in particular, our beautiful young niece of 26 who gave us a scare when she got stuck in Syria,after the attack on 9/11. Everyone had a great time, there was no need to stuff the Turkey with Prozac to relive stress. Many went out early on black Friday for the sales. The weather was really nice, until today we got snow and wind for this first day of December.

Russ E. had to make a trip to the ER on Saturday. Hope you are feeling better Pal.
