I looked for it but can not find anything about 'Specialty Wood's showroom. My first chance at it and Ican not find it. :O(

Morning all. Susan--Is Specialty Keweenaw Woods in the spot where there used to be a small grocery store back in the 60's? I think it was call Morin's or Moran's. The owners first name was Bill. My Grandparents lived next door at 42 Mohawk Street right next to Slim's Cafe.

Charlie sez: Finally made the prestigious award at 10:25 EST. Traveling back home from Utah today, where we have been all week visiting our new granddaughter and her Mom and Dad.

The color is just on it's way here in the hills of Tennessee,so if you missed the UP North color, come on down South it it just starting to cool off.

We are getting ready to go for a ride North. Go towards Port Huron.

I was waiting to see if I got the early bird for the first time. Our power went out last night, as it often does, so I woke up early to re-set clocks and check the computer and there was the question.

Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven , God
was missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the archangel found him, resting on the seventh day.
He inquired of God, "Where have you been?"

God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look Michael,
look what I've made." Archangel Michael looked
puzzled and said, "What is it?"
"It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put Life on it.
I'm going to call It Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance"

"Balance?", inquired Michael, still confused.

God explained, pointing to different parts of earth,
"For example, Northern Europe will be a place of
great opportunity and wealth while southern Europe
is going to be poor; the Middle East over there
will be a hot spot.
Over here I've placed a continent of white people
and over there is a continent of black people," God continued, pointing to different countries "This one
will be extremely hot and arid while this one will be
very cold and covered in ice."

The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then
pointed to a large land mass and said, "What's
that one?"

"Ah," said God. "That's Michigan, the most
glorious place on earth. You'll notice that it is
made in the fashion of my hand, the Hand of
God. There are beautiful lakes, rivers, sunsets
and rolling hills. The people from Michigan are
going to be modest, intelligent and humorous and
they are going to be found traveling the world.
They will be extremely sociable, hard working and
high achieving, and they will be known throughout
the world as diplomats and carriers of peace."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration.

Hi Janie T,
Just saw your post from the 16th. Thank you so much for asking. My nephew is recovering slowly after the horrendous accident he was in. As for my daughter, she is taking one day at a time. I am on my way to Northern California to see her at Clear Lake this morning, also take a side trip to the Wine Country, we will also go to see the Big Trees (Redwoods) The temps here have been very warm, so the trip should be nice.
