That new road at the mall was back when they had all the cool rides outside K-Mart, that was a good time!

I'll confirm, Charlie, that it was 1979 that the new road to the mall was going in. I was a freshman at 'da Tech at the time. Made it hard to get to Pamida some days.

Extreme Home Makeover is finishing up the house they built here in the Lansing (Holt, actually) area today. They are going to "MOVE THAT BUS" at 2:00 p.m. today. They said the show will air in 6-8 weeks. The family lived in an 1860s dilapidated, run-down farmhouse that they had dreams of re-doing. Then mom lost her job last December and dad died in January of this year after a long battle with Hep C that he got at his hospital job. Mom and the three boys have been living on the life insurance money. Now they will have a beautiful new home and scholarships for the boys and money to help with bills. What a wonderful thing for this family.
