Here in the Copper Country, the fall color season is winding down quickly as the weather turns colder too. It's time to winterize your boat, which can be quite a chore...that is unless your watercraft is a canoe like Doug Grusser spotted here. Then all you have to do is store it upside down and off the ground. I hope the height this canoe is off the ground isn't an indication of the amount of snow we're going to get this winter.

After snapping that photo, Doug headed back over to where he parked his bike and decided before starting the job of pedaling again, he'd capture the looks of the bikes against a backdrop of late autumn trees. With all the leaves covering the ground, you can just imagine the sound those bike wheels are going to make as the two bikes head off again. Snap, crackle, crunch...

We all know about the winterizing of a chaparral 180-LE so now lets hear about the canoe. We know it's comming........:o)

Is the canoe up that high for when they are ready to use it as a tobaggon they have easy access to it?

My buddy uses a canoe to go icefishing, but it's really hard paddling across the lake.

The birds must use that canoe for shelter from winds. Easy in easy out...

It is also nice to have a canoe and paddles on the shoreline in the winter time when the lake freezes. If someone falls through thin ice, a person can at least try and go out in the canoe.

I HAVE BEEN UP THAT WELL KNOWN CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE
