Richard Barclay was up bright and early recently and was treated to the moon setting over Lake Superior. Quite a sight this made with the waves building underneath the supervision of that bright orange orb. I'm sure glad he decided to share it with us.
I have to relate a cute story, pertaining to this photo. My 22 month old Grandson is fascinated with the moon, so much so, that when it begins getting dark in the evening now, he looks out the window and says, "Nigh-night, bubble." Which in his baby talk, means "It's night time and the moon should be out." When he does spot it in the sky, he gets quite excited and chatters away about "Nigh-night" and the "Bubble." So while I was working on preparing today's photo, he spotted it on my computer screen and crawled up into my lap to see the "Bubble." The grin on his face and the excitement in his little voice was priceless. So folks, I hope you all enjoy Richard's bubble as much as Alexzander did! :->

Seems I am not the only person up this early. Good Morning to all. Through the eyes of a child comes the excitement and the pure innocence of life. :O))

Reminds me of a heart-warming story....One time, several years ago, was babysitting my Grandniece, Madison, and we were laying in bed, looking out the window at a full moon, and she says "Auntie Donna...see the moon?" and I said "Yes" and she said "It's so beautiful. I wish I could save it for my Mom".....
The little Moon Goddess....just love her to pieces.
A great photo and such priceless stories about those little ones!

Mary, Thanks for the story, you made my day. I have that picture as my background and when pasty.com came on the screen I was confused as to how it had shrunk and stayed in the center? Took me a bit to figure it out. Should have had more coffee.

I see the moon, the moon sees me, down through the leaves of the old oak tree, please make the light that shines on me, shine on the one I love. Is that the song, Dave?

I LOVE EVERYBODY'S VERSION OF A SONG OUT HERE TODAY :O)))
I had a good day so far. I helped my boyfriend fix a fence for an elderly lady who lives by us and I made a pot of chili and now I have the last load of laundry in the drier. It is a good day.

My son also loves the moon. Sunday morning he looked out the window and told me the moon was still high in the sky, they are so intelligent!!
