Good morning! The end of the month photos are always so gorgeous!

Has George Hite returned from his summer voyages yet? It seems awfully late for him to still be 'at sea'.

My wife and I had dinner with George Hite - and about 157 other people - Sunday at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge. It was the annual dinner and meeting of the Keweenaw Historical Society. We sat at George's table, along with the speaker Peter Anin, whom George introduced.

By the way, the KCHS honored the Pasty Cam with the "President's Award" for "providing a forum for sharing the rich history of the Copper Country and fostering an appreciation of its people, its history and its culture."

I took some beautiful sunset pictures from McLain State Park. It was from a gazebo, looking between some trees, looking out at the lighthouse of the breakwaters. I also set up the movie camera and just let it run. Everytime I look at Pasty Cam pictures, I get out the photo albums and look through all of them and just remember each one of the pictures that I took. Lots of memeories.

This is for E. Neil Harri. Where you up in the air Sunday morning flying over Copper Harbor?? If so, I have a few picture of you at work. If you have a picture of the harbor boardwalk that's me shooting back.
