What a surprised look on that critter's face in the last photo! Who took the picture?

Hi All! Long time no post!

Hey, Timmer. These days we reward the Early Bird to the first correct answer. Were you able to view the 'Decade Review'? It doesn't start automatically, and perhaps it doesn't play for everyone. Inquiring minds want to know.

By Betty Paull Colborn,AZ (Betty) on Thursday, September 25, 2008 - 02:46 am:

Donna MacIntosh took the picture. Still only Wed. here in AZ. Good nite all.

Thanks for the feedback, Betty. Sleep tight.

Good morning! Plays fine on my computer.

Have a great day everybody! I know some people who would love to get that squirrel for stealing the bird food, lol.

My bird feeder is a recent victim and it was nearly full!! Need to tie it back up now, the rope was clipped even and the whole thing went down. Squirrels are fun to watch when not destructive.

By mickill mouse (Ram4) on Thursday, September 25, 2008 - 10:34 am:

My mom had a birdfeeder outside of her bedroom window and a squirrel discovered it. Since she did not like to keep the screen in the window we glued two yard sticks together and slid it under the window pane. Everytime it got up there she would move the stick under its butt. It worked pretty good. She said, 'now I don't have to get out of bed.' Which was good for her because her health was not the best. She was tickled pink with the room air conditioner we got her, it had a remote control to it, but it meant the birdfeeder did not get filled. One occasion we went to visit her (in Lake Linden) and she had these pretty, what looked like butterflies, taped to her dresser-mirror. I asked where did they come from and she told me to just wait and I would find out. A moth landed on the bedroom wall and she got the clear packing tape out, taped it to the wall then stuck it to the mirror. she just looked at me and smiled. The only thing I could not stand were the long legged spiders. They drove me nuts.

My grandmother had a great butterfly/moth collection hanging on the walls at their cabin on Corner Lake south of Munising. Of course, she found all of her butterflies and moths dead and then had them mounted, or at least that's what she told us...

Great Fall pic of Lac La Belle, one of my top favorite spots in the C.C.!

Got the newest issue of "Lake Superior" magazine today. You want to see some great photos of Keweenaw area they're there. Including Lac La Belle's north shore! And Munising Bay and Great Sand Bay!

By mickill mouse (Ram4) on Thursday, September 25, 2008 - 09:05 pm:

I was sitting in my moms room with her one time and she had a bamboo/wicker type bird cage in her room, no bird in it. She liked to keep her bedroom window open and a big beetle came in and went right into the cage. She took it out of the cage and through it back out side and low and behold it came back in and went right back into the cage. That was my mom for ya! (funny to me)

Yup, Kay! And I believe that Lac La Belle got the cover too, didn't it? Awesome magazine!!!
