When did the last major harvesting occur on Mead Paper's tract at Yellow Dog Plains?

Good morning! As usual, Dan's picture was wonderful.

Have a great day! It's primary day in MN. Time to get out and vote.

My first Early Bird under the new system! I still haven't made it
through all of the Cam Notes and What's UP after being away for
the summer, but I intend to do so.

Congrats and Welcome to the World to Charlie and Edie's first
grand child. Like you, my husband and I are grateful that our
children's birth parents chose life. We were especially reminded
of that fact this weekend as we attended our daughter's wedding
on Presque Isle. What a wonderful mixture of UPers and people
from away were at the ceremony and later the reception. The
rain held off and just as the ceremony ended, a freighter pulled
in at the Upper Harbor. Hard to ask for more than that in life.

Better get going to work.

Good Morning. We walked around central Sunday afternoon before it rained. I never realized how much was there, so we need to go back and check it out again maybe next weekend.

I thought it was interesting that the bridge middle section seemed to be missing in the picture showing the copper ingots on the dock.

It is the old Swing Bridge, and I believe the middle span is swung open.
