What type of tree is growing between the rocks in today's picture?

That would be a cedar! Good morning all!

Still doing the overnite thing, going on two weeks now. If we don't get this unit started up soon there will be a gasoline shortage. Blasted Isocracker is punching back hard.

Marsha we must be a lot alike because yesterday in one of the shots I could have sworn I saw a light go on in a lighthouse. Scary, eh?

At least SOMETHING is moving and one light is on this dreary Monday morning....my light's not on yet....ZZZzzzz....maybe I should start drinking coffee???

could some folks check out some pictures in my gallery and id some flowers and berries?
I know nothing about flowers or berries, and took some pics along the snwmobile trail in Chassell a couple of weeks ago. I did recognize the thimbleberries :)

David: quite the assemblage of flowers & berrys. Are they all nearby each other? Some I recognize cause we have them down here, some right in our yard! It will take me a bit to check many in my field guide(s) How can one list the ID of these? Just quote the file # as stated? email you off list? BTW, just how can one add a "comment" to a pic as used to be on the old gallery format? I can't seem to find a "tab' or anything. I see an "add a comment" box when I upload my own pics.

The greyish berrys with dark blue ripe ones are some sort of Dogwood. The ones we have around here are "Grey Silky Dogwood" and look like yours pictured. Too bad you couldn't have zoomed many of the pics a bit closer.

Russell, You need to log in to leave a comment. Just as you do when uploading your photos. That means that if one wants to leave a comment and doesn't already have an album they must register.

In case you're wondering why the "comments" in the Gallery are set up that you have to register in order to leave one, that's to prevent the "spammers" from attacking us once again, just like leaving a comment on these pages.

all of those shots were probably within a mile or so of each other. i was hopng the identities could be added as comments, but i noticed the comment thing wasn't there as well, but i wasn't logged in either
If you click on them, they get way bigger, so that might help.
