She may have taken your pasty order on the phone a few years back. Over the last decade you've seen her in action shots from the U.P... four wheeling, Michigan Tech hockey, shopping for a wedding dress, and more. But today's future Shoebox Memory finds Becky Howard resting comfortably with Kira Marie, our new granddaughter. Just in time for Grandparents Day for Edie and me.

Congratulations, to the parent's and the grand-parents. The wife and I became grand-parents Friday the 5th, Alexander Maximillion Schwartz arrived at 1:45 P.M. - 8 pounds 3 oz.- 22 inches long. My Daughter-in-law and son live in Howenwald,Tn.(you notice I gave my daughter-in-law top billing). That makes 17

We finally posted that cameo with pictures of Grandparents and Grandchildren, and Mary Drew was among those making a 'cameo' appearance.

Wow, Charlie, I'm in tears for a number of reasons: the story of the two couples and Becky's birth and adoption, seeing my Grandsons on the cameo, my Mom holding Alexzander when he was only a day old and oh yeah, seeing myself on there too! :->

WOW is right, Charlie! That was such a wonderful story. How great that the young couple did what was right for their baby, and that baby found loving parents in you and Edie. It was wonderful to see my beautiful granddaughter among those babies and to see Mary's mom and Mary with her grandson as well as the picture of her 2 grandsons. It took a long time to come up, but this was well worth the wait. My hat's off to you, and thank you!!

I am so glad that I decided to check out Pasty.net to see the pics of Kira Marie! First of all, I cannot believe how much she looks like her mother!!! She is stunning just like Becky! I am sure you are so proud!!! Uncle Charlie, your cameo brought me to tears! Being in the place I am right now, it is another way God is showing me this precious gift He has placed inside of me and what a true miracle life is!!!
