The Mendota Lighthouse is an awesome sight!! We will be looking at it from the canal out to the big Lake this Saturday!! Hurry up Uncle Chuck and Vicki. Bring your wet suits, cause we are going tubing and skiing!! See you guys soon!!

Thanks to the information that I recently got from this website, I'm thinking about making a trip to Fayette State Park on the Wing this weekend. Looks like the weather will cooperate.

Looks like its going to be a beautiful weekend too. Last Friday the moon was beautiful when it rose over the Huron Mountains too. So Frank, banging on the sauna door to let the guys know they had to come out and see it I was told there were 3 full moons in there if I wanted to see that. Those must be the sauna suits you are talking about.

Three full moons...that's quite a handfull. That's enough to eclipse Uranus, often referred to as a gas giant. Here is a picture of Uranus.

Oh, man, I can't take this! Sure wish I'd been UP last week though to see the real full moon rising over the Huron Mts., right out my bedroom window! When my dtr. was younger she didn't like how dark it was in her bedroom at night there. So I just told her to wait until "the moon comes over the mountain".

Don't forget, "the dark side of the moon"
