I just found out I have a new granddaughter. She was born some time after midnight, weighed in at 8# 12oz and was 20" long. Her name is Isabella, but still don't know her middle name. Mom is doing fine now after about 17 hours of labor before realizing that she wasn't going to come naturally and so they did a c-section. Anyway, I'll be going to the hospital right after work to see our newest bundle of joy!!!

Congratulations Deb on the birth of your new grandbaby! I always liked the name Isabella. May she bring you much grandparenting joy!

Congratulations Deb! How wonderful! Little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice...although I have no actual proof of this (even though I have two girls of my own). Bite her little toes for me.

Thanks everybody! We couldn't hold her tonight when we went to see her because she's under the lights getting her biliruben count down to where it should be. They did take her mask off so we could see her and get a few pics, but when she gets home we'll get our fill of her I'm sure.
They decided to spell Izabella with a "Z". Different I guess.

Congrats on the new granddaughter, Deb and Mr. Deb.

I have lots of catching up to do after being gone for nearly a month. We traveled to New England to celebrate our retiring. My husband kept saying now I know why we go to the UP. The celebration will continue in Sept in the UP. I can hardly wait to get back there.
