I would like to see the Wings bring it back to Detroit and win…that would be an awesome game.

I remember spending many night at the "people pit" dump in Coppper Harbor looking for bears. We saw more people then bears.

Also, I think of at more as the beginning of US 41 then the end.

So will blackflies just sprout later and be horrible, or will they pass this season?

Has anyone seen the blackfly-catching tape that is clear, double-sided adhesive, and goes on windows?

Good morning all. What channel will the game be on tonight? I just want them to win, don't want to stretch it out too far.

Game is on NBC and CBC, the Canadian channel if you can get it. Don Cherry and Ron Maclean (Laurel & Hardy) are a hoot.

Maija - the blackflies never pass. There are some now, but so far they aren't horrible. It depends upon the weather. If it stays cool until the creeks settle down for the summer, we may be lucky...or, like one summer I can remember, they may just never go away and we'll still have them in September! I hope we're lucky.

Sharon: thanks for the info, but you're not cheering me up here! Well, we shall see when I get there....

Don Cherry is a Pittsburgh fan because of Crosby. I would not want to listen to him through the whole game extol the virtues of his buddy. He's just a kid and not really quite that good yet. It's not like he's Yzerman or something.

Wings up 2-1 after 2 periods. It's definitely another edge of your seat game. As usual, lots of bad calls. It's getting a little old. The announcers here are even baffled as to what's going on.

How 'bout those Wings????? Sorry you guys who wanted to see a game 7, and I'll admit it wasn't as exciting watching them skate around Pittsburgh's rink, but they won it!! Hooray!! They were given their chance at the end of the game again though. Hats off to Fleury! That guy's going to be great!

GO WINGS!! trying to find out when the parade will be. Too bad they didnt win it on their own ice on Monday. But we will take the Stanley Cup anyways!! I have actually gotten to see and touch the cup a couple of years ago. Some of the Red Wings brought it into Beaumont for the rehab patients to see. It TRULY is awesome!
