The end of the month always seems to come so soon and with it another memorial sunset for those who have passed on before us. They leave a large hole in our lives, yet we can keep their memories alive in our hearts. This month we remember:

Rememberinbg my wife Lori, gone nearly 6 years, there was nothing she loved more than a Copper Harbor sunset..

Remembering my great-grandmother, Hilda Peterson of Mass City, who died 42 years ago on June 2. Also remembering Carl Miilu of Rockland who died yesterday.

My wife's mother, June Knott, died June 17th in Dallas. We were
blessed to be there with her and other family members during
her last week.

June lived 93 years, mostly in Canton, Ohio. She grew up on a
farm with no electricity or indoor plumbing and lived through
the many changes that brought on the modern world we now
have.

She leaves an extended family of more than 20. Our hearts are
saddened, but at the same time we are thrilled she lived so
many happy, healthy years.

There is a huge void in our lives, but we also have many
wonderful memories.

June was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-
grandmother and friend.

June 28th would have been our 39th wedding anniversary...ouch... It hurts.... but thank you for the beautiful and peaceful photo and a time to remember many lovely sunsets together.May memories comfort all of you who mourn."Joy comes in the morning." Ps.30:5

Last June we lost Fred Kellow, Bishop James Kelsey and Isabel Hagen...all remembered lovingly.

In memory of our next door neighbor of 30 years, Carol Uppleger who also lost her battle with Cancer last week 27th June.
Bless her and her family who stayed by her through all this.

Syl and I only regret that we were many miles from home when she passed and unable to be at the services or funeral.

Remembering the sudden death of our beloved pastor, Pastor Stu
Schroeder, on June 20th. Our congregation continues to mourn
him, but in keeping with his wishes, we joined many others in
giving him a glorious sendoff. He's where he wanted to be (though
perhaps not quite so young as 62), with the Lord. Farewell Boat
Man...you wanted to be in that number when the saints went
marching in. Now you are.
