Up early, eh Mikie? Congrats. on the early bird.

Thanks Kosk. Woke up to get Precious on her way to work. Hay fever is in full bloom. Don't think I will ever be able to beat my past record of several days in a row. Like sleeping in too much. How is your son doing. I know you are proud of him. We all are.

Seems like it would be a good idea to reinstate the Civil Conservation Corp. I'm sure there would be plenty for them to do...like clean up our highways and rivers and parks and help to police our borders...maybe find animals who are being neglected or mentor inner-city youth or any youth for that matter.

The wisdom behind FDR's New Deal was his conviction that it was "unkind to the human spirit" for people to receive welfare payments without giving something in return. Quite a difference between the New Deal and the Great Society.
