Happy birthday Edie, looks like Charlie married a much younger bride. My son had the same type of pedal car. It is stored in the attic of the garage waiting for his kids to want it. Of course they have an electric one now so wont probably ever want to use the old pedal car. Maybe I should sell it on Ebay. If I knew how to get on to Ebay. Got a new camera, have all these pictures. Don't know how to get them on the computer then on the net. How about that getting the Early Bird because of allergies. Is the Early Bird a golden egg?

The Calumet High School Band should be returning from Florida this evening; they marched at Magic Kingdom on Monday, how exciting is that for our band? A well deserved trip for our band members who have worked so hard to raise funds for it.

Mikie: Not that hard to open an Ebay account. Most of our kids have one, even our young Grand-daughters do and sell lots of $1 to $5 items. I sold lots of old vintage and hot rod car parts last summer easily. That plus some part time work from the Nature Center netted me a few bucks but alas it ALL went for gasoline and propane. Can't win!

Hey "Jacobsville Barb"...are you there?! Am wondering if you'll give me a village update? I'm coming back for a short visit next week and am hoping the snow is melted and the lake and canal are open!!! I would LOVE a walk on the beach, even if it is cold! If you can, please give me an update. Tnx.

Hello Everyone,Received my first Pasty order yesterday, Pasty where have you been all my life, they are really good, ordered more yesterday evening. Use to cross the Mighty Mac on I75 going to Billy McKnights Lodge at Massey Ont. to fish but never ate any Pasties, wish I had. Pasty Central is a very good web site, I look at it everyday and Charlie makes a great Pasty, I will always have some on hand now.

Stix, the Keweenaw Bay is water. White City Bay is ice. I would guess you would probably be able to walk along your beach though. The canal on the south end is water, but at the Houghton/Hancock bridge, it's still frozen. This week, with the temps in the 40s, another couple of days should thaw out a whole lot more!
