Calling all Book Worms... If you're looking for bargains, we have just the sale for you! The Friends of the Van Pelt Library are holding their annual Book Sale, featuring hundreds of books on just about any subject you can think of, including fiction, children's books, cookbooks, textbooks, even some local books about the Copper Country. So if you're in the Keweenaw this Friday, April 4th, be sure to stop by the MUB (Memorial Union Building) at Michigan Tech University. You'll find the book sale on the 2nd floor in the Ballroom, where you can browse and pick out your purchases from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you'd like to get a "jump" on everyone else finding some treasures, by shopping the Pre-Sale, you can do so by joining the "Friends". Members will be able to shop early at the Members Only Pre-Sale on Thursday, April 3rd, from 5 to 7. You can purchase your membership at the door: $15/individual, $25/family, and $10/student or senior citizen.

All proceeds of the sale, benefit Van Pelt Library. So, if you like a good deal and love books, the place to be on Friday is at the sale.
