Muffins, hockey teams, shorelines, snowflakes, old and new cabins, big fish, lighthouses, rocks and waterfalls - a little bit of everything over the past 10 years on March 23. But it's the earliest we've ever seen Easter.

Just got home from the sunrise breakfast and the regular 9:00 service. It's a beautiful day, even if it is chilly. Who can complain about sunshine? I'll be sending the pasty cameo on to all my church friends and others.

By Janet Boatman (Janetnwohio) on Sunday, March 23, 2008 - 11:28 am:

Good Morning and Happy Easter to all. I am like you Marsha I just got home from sunrise service and breakfast and 9:00 services.

I just received by email some amazing shots of a pack of wolves chasing down and catching a moose. The shots were supposedly taken from a tree stand in Iron Mountain. Anyone else see these? I don't know how to post them here. I can't help but wonder if they really are from Iron Mt. Remember the shots of the albino moose pair that were supposedly from the U.P., but actually turned out to be from Canada?

Happy Easter everyone. We are having a snowstorm right now!! not suppose to be much but who knows.....
I read somewhere that the last time Easter was this early was in 1913 and the next time will be 2060. Interesting. Good evening all.

By Charlotte, Mishawaka, IN (Charlotte61) on Sunday, March 23, 2008 - 07:57 pm:

Happy Easter from Mishawaka, IN. It was a cold Easter but the sun came out. Let's hope spring will be here soon.

Inquiring minds want to know, What determines when Easter gets here? Way to early to be in tune with the Dogwood bloom!

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Monday, March 24, 2008 - 06:20 am:

The timing of Easter has to do with the moon. Wikipedia can probably explain it.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Monday, March 24, 2008 - 08:18 am:

I think it is something like the first Sunday, after the first Full Moon, after the Vernal Equinox. :-)
