I noticed in one of the shots on this day in the history of the Pasty Cam, Houghton County's Airport Manager, Dennis Hext. It would be interesting to have an index of names of folks who have appeared on these pages over the years.

Top o' the morning to you all. Is spring comin' today? Are we there yet?

Is everyone off on spring break this week, or something? It's pretty quiet in Pasty Land today, anyway. :-)

I don't know how many of you UP in Copper Country are country music fans, or who might like Lorrie Morgan. She has won a number of Grammy awards as best female vocalist of the year. She is performing this Wednesday night, March 12, at 7:30 pm, at the Rozsa, in Houghton. There are still some seats available, if you are interested. It is one of the big events at the Rozsa for the year, (but it is also during Michigan Tech's Spring Break).

The Pasty Olympics were held in Nevada County, California, this past weekend. It consists of a pasty toss competition between dignitaries and residents of Grass Valley and Nevada City. See the news article in the Nevada County Union at:

I am a huge country music fan.......I probably know more about country music than anyone can or would believe lol I always have people coming to me with just a few words and I can tell them what the song is and who it's by and what album they can find it on etc...

Me being a poor college student grrrrrrr I can't afford to get a ticket go to otherwise I would! :( I would sell my soul to the devil to go but pfft I don't think he wants mine lol

I think I may hit up the Bluegrass Festival at the Calumet Theatre on the 28th...Chasin' Steel is going to be there..gotta give Adam Carpenter a hard time...btw Adam is the DJ for the Outdoor Show on (WFXD) FOX 103.3 FM M-F 3-6pm out of Marquette..so just a heads up for all of you who like to hunt and fish..might wanna listen to his show sometime.

BTW I go to Finlandia...our Spring Break was February 25-March 2nd...so yea it's back to hittin the books and cracking down on the last 5 weeks of classes!!
