Good morning, who has the worst weather today? Raining here.

Good Morning, Everyone! We have light snow here, enough to make a mess of the roads, but not a major hassle. We will continue to get light snow today. The big snow storm went south of us. It seems rather strange when you live too far north for the big snow, LOL.

I agree with you Charlie. I love Dan Urbanski's photo's. They are among my favorites.

Morning all! Yep we miss old Dan. Some of his shots were once in a lifetime events.

And the beauty that Dan observed made him an even more special
person.

I especially like Dan U's picture of the snow covered Victoria. The snow on the roofs of the log cabins looks like frosting on cakes or brownies, or something! Very cool! (All of the pictures are cool, but that one is my favorite of the day.)

Your right Kosk, it takes a certain inner-beauty to notice the simple beauty around us and it appears Dan had it.

Marianne Ohio is the south of you that got the snow storm, worse one of the year and getting more today, funny when I was a kid this is the weather I loved now people like me in these wonderful golden years(in your dreams) don't think it brings much fun. Spring is on the way and it is just beautiful outside the trees look like the flocked Christmas trees.

I wouldn't say worst weather, just not weather I'm used to in February: yesterday we had a near-record high of 84. By tomorrow morning, frost will be likely at my place away from the city.

And to top that off, I was treating to a very intense light show on my way to work this morning......

WOW! Dan's shots really are great! And this last one is a beauty too.

I love that "Truckin' through the Keweenaw" picture. It is in my top ten list of favorite pictures from this web site.

The cameo was a very good sample of Dans talent.

We got about 5 inches of snow last night with more to come today. The winds are supposed to pick up to 30 MPH so there will be drifting. The roads are bad already and will get worse. Do we win, David?

Hey k j, here west of you it's been snowing in various amounts since noon yesterday. Saw the BIGGEST snowflakes in my life about mid- afternoon! The old-fashoned street lights in downtown Savanna look like a Christmas card. Almost worthy of a UP scene!

Sitting in the lodge at Snowshoe, WV, 40 degrees and raining. Good skiing yesterday, none today. This sure isn't winter!

We had 6 inches on the ground by 11 AM here in Hillsdale Conuty Michigan. Had to make a trip to Jackson early this morning and the farer north we went the less snow they had. I sure would not want to go south they have more.

Snowed all night and all today--blizzard like at times. TV weather said it was over about 1PM,-- not here it snowed til dark! Mid-day it got into the 30s, snow got heavy and slushie. Then it rained. After dark it dropped into the teens. Little 10 HP mower with a blade on it is really getting a workout this winter. Snowbanks here like "up nort"
Don't know where to push all this snow anymore. Lots got pushed right onto the pond. Was supposed to be painting rooms this winter but all I'm doing is pushing, shoveling, chopping ice & snow plus cutting, splitting wood day after day! Getting to be just like the story of "The Diary of a Snow shoveler" (some of you have read the story and know what I mean! LOL ) Maybe I should move to Southern California out by my brother where we once lived. Nothing to worry about but smog, traffic, congestion, and sleazy Hollywood Liberals, or maybe down to Tennessee where all you got to worry about is being thrown in jail with "the good ol' boys"!

In todays mail got our Edison bill and in it was printed "Imagine how you would feel if you couldn't afford to heat your home"---Almost put this in the "Jokes" column cause for some of us it is! HA HA, but you don't see me laughing at all. Thank goodness for us we have the wood stove besides the regular $$$propane furnace!

What a difference a day makes! After my 7:25 am post above we left out for Dentist way over in Oak Ridge. It was misty, foggy and it poured rain as we got there. Sun came out and the temp rose to 64. At dark it started to get cold and snow came. This morning the ground is covered in white, pretty.

Tom Wright got my vote for having the worst weather day.No snow to ski, when you had it the day before and want to do some more. Now that's a sad story.

It was a year ago when the good ole boys threw me in Union County jail. What a experience that was! Now they all know me by name and say howdy when they see me. The Sheriff, Junior Loyd who I voted for his first term will get my vote again. I liked that shirt I had on that night until it got all bloody. All charges were dropped for violence and wire tapping, which was a joke. So you all remember when you talk on cordless phones. What goes in the air can be heard by other's then the person your talking to.
