Good morning from MN. It's another beautiful day here. Went sledding with the grandkids yesterday. And yes, grandma and grandpa went sledding also. I'll do my best to stay young.

Hey, does anyone know if Portage Canal out towards South Entry and Keweenaw Bay are frozen over? I know it was cold up there early on but then warmed up! Just curious.

Stix: Went to L'Anse on Thursday and there wasn't any ice in Keweenaw Bay, but going through Chassell you could see ice shanties and fishermen. It could be frozen to the bottom and I still wouldn't feel safe on it! HA!!

White City Bay is frozen, but the canal is open, as is Keweenaw Bay.

Sure is pretty out here with the recent snowfall.
