Past-E-Mail: Cam Notes - 2007: December: Dec 14-07: Friday-What'sUP
• Ancestors 2007 • New Arrivals 2007 • Politics and Religion, Ketchup or Gravy By Charlie at Pasty Central (Chopper) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 05:58 am: Ever notice how just about every week of the Pasty Cam over the last 10 years includes a shot of wildlife or pets in the U.P.? During this week 8 years ago, our animal subjects were horses. Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Friday! By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 07:23 am: That tri-colored Buckskin Paint is a very nice looking horse! My 10 horses are enjoying their playtime out in their snowy pastures! By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 09:33 am: Good morning! Not a horse fan at all but love the commercials at Christmas time with the Clydesdales. They're gorgeous! By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 09:55 am:
I have been a Clydesdale fan from way back when. I will watch the ads in the Super Bowl, just hoping to see the Clydesdales. :-) Seriously, they made an appearance at the Midland County fairgrounds a few years ago, and our whole family enjoyed that. They are gorgeous. By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 10:05 am: If anyone visits the St. Louis, MO. area, check out Grant's Farm, the breeding farm of the famous Budweiser Clydesdales team. I enjoyed that part of our trip there the best. Very pretty horses but can be tempermental and head-strong to work with. I rode one once under saddle, a heck of a view way up there! By Snowman (Snowman) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 10:27 am: Janie, the Budweiser Brewery is also a great place to see the Clydesdales. The stable has hardwood floors and is spotless. Also pretty neat to see how the beer is made. The best part of the tour was "sampling the beer"! By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 10:33 am: Snowman...that part was hubby's favorite part of our vacation! We toured it several times! :) By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 11:43 am: Charlie...pasties arrived as scheduled. Good Job! Morning dears friends! By Alex J. Tiensivu (Ajtiensivu) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 01:51 pm: THIS Alex, asks THAT Alex to FAX him a pasty! By Susan Lahti (Finn_in_texas) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 03:19 pm:
Congratulations Judy on the early bird! By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 04:16 pm: Alex to Alex...if I could I gladly would. Unfortunately, I can't so I will have to eat them ALL MYSELF. By Susan Lahti (Finn_in_texas) on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 04:39 pm: I got my pasty delivery on Wednesday. They didn't even get a chance to thaw. The cold weather stayed with them all the way down here to central Texas. Yum! By Theresa R. Brunk (Trb0013) on Saturday, December 15, 2007 - 05:36 am: Today is my Birthday and what a coincidence that I wake up and the pic from the 14th is still up and I am going to treat myself to horseback riding lessons today. Today's date makes me Sagittarius and as the saying goes, I am half horse and half man. And I thought I was only half Native American. :) By Paul Oesterle (Paulwebbtroll) on Saturday, December 15, 2007 - 05:53 am: By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Saturday, December 15, 2007 - 06:15 am: By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Saturday, December 15, 2007 - 07:31 am: |
