I understand the eastern U.P. was hit with some snow yesterday. But temps in the 40's this morning have made it disappear in the Copper Country. Much the same look as it was 8 years ago in Chassell on the Pasty Cam.

Congrats to the Menominee Maroons football team! They traveled down my way yesterday to Gaylord to face one of our rivals, the Standish Panthers. Menominee won 41-20 to move on to next Saturdays' state semifinal contest against Grand Rapids West Catholic at the Marquette Superior Dome.

In honor of Veterans Day:

We should honor the veterans for they act like a shield.
Protecting us from danger, keeping America healed.

and to honor them even more, press your congressmen to start funding adequately the VA hospitals, and to provide better aftercare for them when they come back from combat.

Good Morning, Everyone! That's cool, Tim. Congratulations to Midland High School for their Division 2 Regional Playoffs win over Davison on Friday night. The score was a bit odd, 7 to 3; it sounds more like a baseball score than a football score. It was a real battle of the defenses of both teams. We now go on to play Lowell in the Division 2 Semifinals, on a neutral field, Lansing Everett High, next Saturday at 1 pm. This will be Midland's first SemiFinals game since 1994. Congratulations, Midland High!

What happened to Michigan yesterday? I was estatic when I read in the paper this morning Il beat Ohio...until I read Michigan went down to Wisconsin. Well, both Michigan and Ohio should really be pumped for next week's game.

Just love watching the NFL while The Big Lake sings in the background, can't beat it!

It actually didn't matter who won/lost yesterday, a trip to the Rose Bowl will be decided in The Big House next Saturday at high noon. Although, I was darn happy that the buckeyes lost and to Illinois of all teams. Go Blue!!!

Now I'm actually pulling for Kansas, the laughing stock of the Big 12, to run the table. If Kansas does run the table and doesn't make the championship game, that would be the ultimate "jacked up" moment of the year in college football....

Because we all know that there are no politics involved with team rankings and such. Go Jayhawks!! We always look forward to the game of the year, GO BLUE!!

What a rout, eh? It's gonna be a long ride home today for the Vikes.....with their horns tucked between their legs. LOL!!

The Packers could have at least allowed the Vikings one TD at the end so my numbers would have matched and I'd have won the final. Stupid Vikings can't do anything right.

Well the snow is still on the ground here by Champion! We did get the full 1 ft. of last Mon. night and 2 or 3 ft. where it drifted! We got bypassed by so many storms last winter. Hope it gets back to that! Got called in to work but I made it with my front wheel drive anyway! Now its in 40's, heat wave I guess? Take care all, and you can keep the snow up there! lol

Glad to see that Tim won the early bird, I am now going to try for the late owl. Having won the early bird on several occaisions I now am striving for the late owl.

Go Pack!!!! Unfortunately they only showed the first part of the game and then switched over to some other game. Totally wierd. I have never seen that done before.

If that's the only issue, then a better solution, without 'tossing the baby out with the bathwater' would be to simply turn off those emails!

The steps are as follows:
1. Go to the PastyCam Profile Editor page.
2. At the top of that page, in Profile Editor Options,
click on the E-mail Notification link.
3. Once there, see if any of the following options are checked:
[ ] Cam Notes - 2007
[ ] Cam Notes - 2006
[ ] Cam Notes - 2005
[ ] Cam Notes - 2004
[ ] Various Topics
[ ] notes in prior version

and a bit further down the page:
[ ] Replies to my posts

and still further down the page:
[ ] My own posts

3. Then simply click on those check boxes that show a checkmark. Verify that the each checkmark vanishes.
4. Scroll down to find the next button as reads:
[Save this information]
5. Click on that button.

6. Close your browser window.

You will not get any further emails generated by from this site due to any messages posted in any of the various forums.

I never get any such email from this site myself, and I agree that it would be a nuisance to receive 'em. They would serve no purpose for me, especially since I'm on this site several times a day anyway.

Having watched the Packers wipe out the Vikings I kinda felt bad for them. How DID the Bears do? Was watching Anne of Green Gables and forgot to keep tract of the Bears.
