Patrick Hall caught the flakes falling through the branches, just like the leaves that disappeared off the trees a few short weeks ago. And just like those leaves covered the ground, now the flakes are doing the same thing, only they cover everything in white, making it look clean and bright.
Speaking of bright, Greta Jones spotted the moon setting over Lake Superior, in the midst of a brightening, morning sky recently. Not too often you see the moon in the daytime like that.

...and let me add congratulations to Greta Jones for one of her pictures in the 2008 Pasty Cam Color Calendar. It just happens to be the cover!
Yesterday we began reviewing each month's photo in the new larger-size calendar for 2008. If you are a registered Cam Notes member, keep an eye on your email this week for an exclusive calendar bonus :o)
Oh my goodness... both pictures are so cool... I saw the full moon over the weekend but my camera was too cold and wouldn't let me get any shots!

Oh wow, those pictures are both so great! Thank you for brightening my Monday morning!
My co-worker's baby was born on the full moon. She was pretty excited about that.

Didn't see where anyone had already posted about this, but I saw in USA Today where tonight is the 1st episode of Nimrod Nation about the Watersmeet basketball team on Sundance Channel at 8:00 Central. Be interesting to see how they portray things.

I just love the different moon phases and all beauty it can bring, here's a nice web with lots of neat moon stuff, I enjoy the Free Daily Moon Phases Website Module and have it on my homepage. www.calculatorcat.com/moon_phases/moon_phases .phtml

The moon is like this once a month. When the moon is full it is setting as the sun is rising.
Now having a clear sky to see it every month is the problem.
