All across the Upper Peninsula right now, there are varying amounts of snow on the ground. We have three photos today that represent what some of the areas are looking like right about now. The first shot is from Steve Haagen, with a snow covered road ahead. The cities and towns over on the western end are looking more like this right now. Where other places UP North here just have a dusting, like the second and third photos from Roger Kangas. There are even places that don't have any snow on the ground at all yet. I really can't say that it bothers me to not have any or little snow on the ground right now, as we always get a fair share, just that sometimes it just takes a little longer for it to begin. :->

Bergland down here in the middle portion of the western end of the UP picked up 12 inches of fluff. Its the easy shoveling kind. More flurries this morning too.

Nice picture of a two track road. It makes me think of deer hunting. I don't seem to do it much anymore.

I'm with you Char! I would love nothing more than to have many inches covering my front yard here in Monclova, Ohio.

I grew up in the UP and just love it but now I'm living in Canada and it's been below zero for many nights already!
