Yes, Deb, it is Mr. Bill's birthday today. As you can tell, we're getting to that "old folks" age where we don't always sleep well at night ...sigh. Good luck with your job interview Theresa!

Hard to believe I've been a grandma for a year already. Rhyan LaFleur McPherson is one year old today!

Well a guy could get use to waking up to the sounds of Lake Superior in the morning! GN and I took the tour around the point yesterday, BEAUTIFUL COLORS! Saw more vehicles on top of Brockway then I see in the summer, guess everyone had the same idea. Today a trip into town to get a few things for the camp, and maybe a trip to Baraga tonight.

Come on U.P. there's still plenty of colors to see in the Keweenaw!

Back from Interview. Things are looking up. Call back for second interview with CFO by Monday. Heehee, I am elated. Less Money, but much better company and better position to grow. Everyones good wishes and prayers, I believe, have boosted my ego and it showed in the interview. I had all the right answers. Many thanks... now all I need is the weekend off to relax :)

Oh I forgot... Happy Birthday to all!! And since I am relatively new at Pasty Cam, who is the Z-Man??

Uncle Chuck, oh how I wish we could come UP there to see the fall color this year. You guys are making me jealous. I will just have to enjoy the pictures of those who do take them and let the rest of us see them. :-) But, it can't happen this year, for many reasons, one of which is that my youngest son has to march with his high school marching band at CMU in Mt Pleasant on Saturday, in a required performance.

That, and my back fracture is not healing. In fact, it actually got worse between the first and the second CT scans (two months apart). I go for a third one the end of Oct. I finally get into the neurosurgeon for a consultation in Ann Arbor the end of Nov. In the meantime, my wings remain clipped. Such is life in the little city. :-)

It is a perfect day outside today! It is about 78 degrees, clear sky, not windy, not humid... I would love it to be like this every day of the year!

Snowman, come on U.P. but we're leavin in two days, just had 3 face cords delivered, got my work cut out for me, even talked Richard my wood man into taking some old mattress's and frames and disposing of them, only cost me $, big help though worth the C note. Sarah where are you?

His work is stunning, in the class of the late Dan Urbanski and the Mn. photographer Craig Blacklock( and his late dad, Les Blacklock) Speaking of which...if anyone gets the Lake Superior Magazine you'll see photos by our own Brian & Shawn Malone and Steve Brimm.Such talent and such beauty!
