Eight years ago on this date the Pasty Cam started a new tradition at the request of several regular visitors to this daily feature. The end of the month memorial is a day for honoring friends who have passed on each month, and it started with a rainbow over Old Glory spotted at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp.
By the way, if you're in the Copper Country this week, plan to take in the concert by The King's Brass this Thursday at Calumet Theatre, sponsored by Gitche Gumee. A wonderful night of music on this historic stage, with reduced prices so you can bring the whole family. It all starts at 7:30pm Thursday August 2. Adults $10, children $5, under 5 free.
