Contrast in water transportation 8 years ago on the Pasty Cam, with a kayak slipping past the Isle Royale Queen in Copper Harbor. I wonder how many shots on the daily Pasty Cam over the years have been in and around Copper Harbor?

Good morning!

Good Morning from E.TN. where the rain has been doing it's best to catch up on the 14 inches that it's behind on.

Deb is in a slump. Trollperson got a streak going.

Here's wishing Sharon a trouble-free final load-up this morning, and safe travel back home to Copper Harbor. Plus a cat in the lap this evening.

We've been reading your posts daily and have been pulling for you through the whole process. Go girl!

Good morning from cloudy Berkley. Wish I was sitting next to the Hungarian falls listening to the water cascading over the rocks, with my grandkids and Precious saying "when are we leaving, I am hot, I want an ice cream, oh the joy of the waterfall.

I'm back! Had a great time UP north and the Jamboree was the best ever! Weather was perfect for stirring boiling hot bean soup and meeting friends. I met Lorelei, Kosk and Ken & Mimi! Got to enjoy Ken's banjo playing, too. Now I have a lot of house cleaning to do! My cottage is so much nicer because it doesn't have CLUTTER!

Good Morning, cloudy and rainy in Dexter. Too late to help I am afraid, the corn and beans look pathetic around here. the second cutting of hay was really short.

I'm sure I'm not the only one living vicariously thru Sharon. I'm there where ever she is. I walk down the hall to the north end to retreat for the night. I struggle with unpacking the car with all those supplies from Houghton. The view of the water's activities is in my mind's eye. And I'm there watching all her critters and how she relates to them, whether a deer, a hummer, a bear or her birds. But most of all I hug Buster and laught at Jasmine's antics. She's a neat lady and I so enjoy her journal. God speed, Sharon, safe journey home.

My boss is going to a Softball tournament in Germfast over the weekend, she has never been past the bridge. Anyone else going?

By Brooke (Lovethekeweenaw) on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 - 04:05 pm:

oops germfask, can't type.

By Sharon I. Smith (Sharons) on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 - 09:16 pm:

You all make me blush. For the record, I made it back in one piece, although the car is still full...most of that is for another day. Jasmine stared at me through the door then beat it to the basement. Buster is sitting on my lap purring, and he doesn't want to get off.

When I crossed the lift bridge, I realized there was a little smile on my face...I'm home! All is well.

Just finished checking all the days of Pasty Cam I missed while I was UP for 11 days. Marianne so sorry to hear about your back. Hope you are healing and will soon be back to full speed. My prayers are with you. Sur5er, good to see that you are back. Also, Sur5er, a belated Happy Birthday. Sharon, happy to know you made it made it home.

The picture of Brockway was really neat. Last week we stood on top and enjoyed the view. It was great. I can't wait for a return trip to see the things we didn't have time for this trip.

Sharon, I agree with what Kay said above. I can't go to bed till I read the pasty cam and your page. I enjoy all that you write. Glad
you made it back 'up home' from the noisey city.
Enjoy your 'babies' and your home. And KEEP WRITING.

Marsha/Genesee, Glad you had a nice time UP at Aura. Was good to meet you and your dad. Oh, yeah, the bean soup was Mmmm good! Hei hei.

By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Thursday, July 26, 2007 - 10:30 am:

Marsha back in Genesee--It was so nice to meet you and your
husband. Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but my dear dog would have
roasted in the car. I took him for a walk down on the shore of the
Bay and revived his spirits. I am having a great time here in the UP
despite the heat.
