Good morning from Berkley where the sky is blue and the sun is bright and grandson Tim Ozanich is here to make my day. Cheereos for breakfast for him and maybe bacon and eggs for me. Jimmie the fat white cat was brushed and groomed by Andrea the Irish dancer before the women left for church. Friday had a wonderful dinner with Pennie and sur5er who were kind enough to take me out to dinner. Tim is finished with breakfast so now he wants to go to the shop and build something. Maybe he will sweep the sawdust up.

Hello, Its a nice day in Pinckney. Daughter went to the Tiger game so she is loving it!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Only 2 more days before we head upnorth! Will get to meet up with Mr & Ms. Deb, sur5er, Cotton and others. Anyone else heading up to Mackinaw for the 50th anniversary? Bummed that Mikie cant go. It was my pleasure to take Mikie out for dinner. He is a wonderful man and a great friend.

Wish we were leaving that soon, but we have to wait until the weekend. It should be a lot of fun. Am anxious to meet some of these great people whom I've become friends with.

Brooke, too bad the Tigers lost today, huh? They've been doing pretty good though. They swept the Twins to my delight and I let everybody out here know it. LOL

We too will be heading for the copper country very soon; leaving Friday as a matter of fact. Unfortunately, we won't be anywhere near the Straits during the anniversary. We've already received so many requests for geological "guide service" that I think we're going to make people take a number, hehe.....

It's great that everyone can visit with you Mikie. The Dr. and I are in the process of making plans to visit wlth Mikie as well when we're in the area visiting my Uncle, who's in Berkely as well.

Only 6 more days until we are sitting on the shores of Gitchee Gumee, enjoying some hopefully cooler weather than we are sitting in now....

We will be watching the fireworks at the bridge for the big 50th! Does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to view the show? We will be staying on the St. Ignace side.

Pennie can probably tell you. I think they do this a lot. We're planning to watch them too and will also be on the St. Ignace side. At least I think we well, it's where we're staying.

Not sure where we are going to be Deb. Planning on scouting out St. Ignace on thursday and friday to find a prime spot. LOL
