I chose today's Shoebox Memory before even looking at the daily photo from 8 years ago. The Pasty Cam often has a maritime subject, living here in the middle of the Great Lakes.

Very soon now we hope to have the Guest Gallery restored so that your scans and photos can be uploaded and managed, in a more convenient and flexible format.

Going to be a great day here in Pinckney, was yesterday too. Got the car vacuumed out yesterday and some other spring cleaning, going to just enjoy today. Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning all, I just finished raking 12 piles of oak leaves and I am not done yet!!! Its very hard on this ol' bod. Everyone have a Great SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!

If I don't hurry up, I won't be able to say "Good Morning, Everyone,", so here it is!

We had a delightful day here yesterday. It did not get as warm as they had predicted, only making it to 74 instead of the predicted 78, but it still felt very warm. Thankfully, I remembered in time to get my husband to put down the crab grass preventative yesterday, just in time. My youngest son and I finally made it down to the outlet mall to buy some new spring/summer clothes for him, since he has outgrown some of his old favorites.

Today, we are supposed to get up to 80--I wonder if we will make it? We do have a Red Flag Warning, as does much of our region. I love the weather, with the low humidity and the warmth. I just hope there are no wild fires.

We have a lot of spring cleaning to do today. It is my youngest son's job to clean out the car. But, that may not happen, depending on how much homework he has.

Hope everybody had a great weekend. We spent ours traveling to NW Illinois to meet Ms. Katie, a dear friend whom we've been conversing with for quite some time. She's as wonderful in person as she is on the site and through her e-mails. Thank you for a grand time Kay.

Deb,,,that is a mutual admiration society then. I still can't believe two people whom I've never met in person would travel all those hours to visit me and support me in some difficult times!!! You guys are the greatest.
