Eight years ago on the Pasty Cam: 04/12/99 ^{Printed on Recycled Internet}

Cliff Drive was a recurring theme during the early years of the Pasty Cam. Conditions were almost identical back in '99, with one big exception. This year, Spring already came back in March. The snow was all gone, grass turning green, even the bugs starting to come out. Then came April 3... and 4... and... non-stop snow, winds, and bitter cold. As I recall eight years ago it was a gentler Spring, without the extremes.

This is a real mapping result, sadly. Go to maps.google.com. Type in New
York City, NY to Paris, France. When it comes up with your trip directions,
check out step 23!!! Actually, credit for finding this little anamoly goes to one of my youngest son's friends in the high school band, I believe.

Oops! This has been known for at least a couple of days. Google's mapping software has a glitch in it that might take a while to solve, eh?

That would be a long swim for sure, Wow.

Sadly? I think that's fun. How long will it take till someone sinks a car in the Atlantic Ocean on their way to Paris, be it France or Texas. Or Michigan.

They just didn't want to encourage anyone to go to France.

Are you sure that is Cliff Drive??? It sure looks like what we used to call the Mill Road heading north into Mass City from the boonies.

Cindy, I thought Mass City WAS the boonies! (Just kidding)

A few more weeks and it will be well worth the drive to Mass City!! The Trilliums will be in full bloom. For some reason, they just flourish in that area, both the white and the violet colored.

I also got an email about the map, it was good for a chuckle.

Good one Greenhermit! I walked right into that! So now you know that I lived in the boonies OUTSIDE of the boonies. It's like you can't get there from here....:-)
