Good Afternoon everyone! 45 degrees, some blue sky here in Houghton. Got the front yard raked today (gotta get the doggy doo-doos up). Have a good Palm Sunday and April Fools Day all in one.

Diese Internet-Übersetzungsseiten zeitigen jedenfalls recht ulkige Resultate. Ich kann jedem, der sich mal ein wenig amüsieren will nur empfehlen, einen ihm bekannten Text einer anderen Sprache per translator-engine ins englische (oder jede beliebige andere, verstandene Sprache) übersetzen zu lassen.
In diesem Zusammenhang erinnere ich mich an die Anekdote von dem Programm, das die Geschichte über eines Mannes Gespielin übersetzen sollte um im Verlaufe dessen aus seiner wunderschönen Mätresse seinen wunderschönen Mähdrescher machte.

Danbury, it was too early in the morning here for me to sit here & translate this. So, alas, I resorted to having Google translate it for me. It does lose something in the translation, but I did understand enough of it that having it translated did not enhance it enough. Translator engines are great, aren't they?

Ok, that did not make a ton of sense. My words, translated: I got enough of the German text, that Google's German to English translation did not enhance what I already undertood. But translator engines, in principle, are great!

I have to admit that I intentionally did NOT use the most common expressions for what I wanted to say, so no wonder translator engines might come up with something funny.
Sure, they're great to get an idea at the very least, or more, and are more convenient than balancing grammars and dictionaries, but sometímes they're just, well, fun ... :)

Kosk: Nope. But it shows plainly that I am fooling around on April 1st.
