Leave it to Joyce Tormala to catch one of her feline friends doing what they do best... relaxing in the U.P. sunshine. Well actually this kitty seems to be taking a bath, too, and what a smart idea to use the solar warmth as a sun lamp to dry off! Not counting sauna photos, I wonder if this is the first time the Pasty Cam featured a bath time in progress? :->

Dave, why would we want to remember that someone put us in a bucket?! Love the kitty picture though!

I have many fond memories of the 1940's with Mom washing us on Saturday nights downstairs in the larger washtubs.

I remember having bathtime in a galvanized washtub in the kitchen during the cold, but in the summer the tub was outside. :o) Äiti (Mom) would have our clothes in the oven. They sure felt good after the bath! At the time we were living up there in Paavola.

I remember getting baths in the kitchen sink. Of course, it was bigger than a bucket.

My mom has a picture of me in the in an old tub in the sauna just like that, that little guy could be my brother.
