In memory of my Aunt Pat, Olive Hartman. When my Father was hospitalized with TB from 1945 to 1949, his sister-in-law (Aunt Pat) went to all his siblings (11 brothers and sisters) and friends and collected money so he would have medicine to make him well. She was a great lady and I think of her often.

Great picture for memories. This March my Grandpa would have been 87, we miss him. How many grandfathers teach their granddaughters to hang drywall and mix & pour concrete? He was great.

I too would also like to remember Ray Porkka. He lived next too my parents and was a great friend of my dad.

Remembering a retired co-worker and UAW activist Carl Caldwell, who died on March 10, 2007. Carl had 40 years of service to Chrysler and was a big believer in civil rights for all. Also, Florian "Flo" Zielinski, who died in her sleep after completing another day at work - 61 years, 3 months seniority and still came in every day at Chrysler.

April first is my fathers birthday he would have been ninety six tomorrow, and would have been married to my mother seventy five years on the second of April. Remembering Joseph Cy DuLong and Catherine Stanton DuLong they would have enjoyed my nine grandkids, they only knew Andrea the Irish dancer, Mom called her Precious Moment since she was a beautiful as some of Moms collection.

in memory of my grandfather, who passed away one year ago, march 18th. he was a war hero, a scientist, an artist, and a wonderful person. he taught me about painting, about lightning, how to chase cows from your yard, where to travel, how they eat in other parts of the world...
i think of him often, and all of these wonderful memories come to mind.

In memory of my friend "Zeke" Jack Hornick. He had an antique shop near Keweenaw Bay where he and his wife had a world of treasures. Zeke was a major player in putting together the Ford Albert Museum. He played tennis just the day he died. An all around great guy. Zeke was also a Houghton High grad who went to all of the all-school reunions. He and his brother, Charlie are together again!

Margaret, I am sorry to hear that your friend died suddenly this week. My thoughts & prayers are with you.
