No matter where you travel in the Upper Peninsula, you'll find something that is pleasing to your eye. For some folks it's the water surrounding us, for others it's the forests and trees. When I spotted this photo in Aladino Mandoli's Gallery album, it struck me as a prime example of the beauty of a naked tree. Of course these are adorned with snow, clinging to every branch, but the way the shot is composed it makes you feel like you're standing right there in the midst of them, as they tower high above you. Better hope that a strong wind doesn't happen along knocking all that snow into our faces as we look skyward! :->

YES! This is a great picture of what the UP is really like. Sometimes it's hard to explain with all the leaves on them, but now you can see the forest for the trees.

Almost looks like you are laying in the snow looking up.

K J, your clock will reset itself. Receives a radio signal to do that.

Awesome! If we weren't on the last leg of winter, it might make me wish I was there looking up. I'm just ready for the snow and cold to be over.

Kathy, my atomic clock did not spring forward one hour. Now I am wondering if it will spring forward on the usual day DST started!

Mine did spring forward. (Thanks Parrot John).

You must not be receiving the signal. Move it around the house and make sure the little antenna shows up in the display.
