Snow in Northern Indiana (Elkhart-Bristol) today, suppose to get up to 10",,and then going to -10 degrees Friday night and Christmas Day. Memories of my youth in Laurium. But will be back there on the 29th for a week - looking forward to it. CHS 1960

Here in Oakland county we had a bunch of snow...probably about 10"! It sure was pretty, but on the other hand it was not fun driving! I wish all drivers were like yooper drivers, and by that I mean being intelligent when driving in the snow. People just spin their tires around here... don't they realize they need to let up on the gas to make the car go in the snow? sheesh! It took my son an hour and a half to get to work this morning (from Commerce Rd to 8 mile and Grand River... it is normally a 20 minute ride. Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
