Hey, there's my shipment of pasties!

By jefflarae (Jefflarae) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 08:08 am:

Thanks to Charlie, Dean and all the good folks at Pasty Central for the great Pasty's. I was able to bring 75 home (to Baltimore, Maryland) for the holidays and have given them out as gifts, served them at a special dinner and enjoyed them myself. Those who were lucky enought to get one this year, raved! Happy Holidays to all!

Those pasties would look better if they weren't surrounded by Packers paraphernalia.

By lz (Llamamama) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 11:06 am:

Come-on Usedtobeayooper, who won their game this weekend?! ;o>

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 11:17 am:

Well llamamama you know what they say. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while.

By Lorelei (Lorelei) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 12:22 pm:

Deb,
I agree with you re: the wall art. I am not a football fan period. I guess I would like to see RedWing stuff instead ;)

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 12:33 pm:

How about Wallpaper of the Week pictures instead? That would make everyone happy, right? Just remember, we must forgive those who sin differently than we do. ;o)

Have you all heard about George Hite's latest adventure? http://eagleharborweb.net/archive/update10.htm

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 01:36 pm:

A man walked into a bar and sat down for a drink. He noted a dog intently watching a Packers - Bears game.

Whenever the Packers scored, the dog would jump onto the bar and do an animated dance. This happened over and over as the Packers scored again and again. At the end of the game the dog let out a loud howl and ran out of the bar.

The man thought this was pretty unusual and asked the bartender, "Gee that's amazing. What happens when the Bears win?"

The bartender replied "I don't know, the dog's only 4 years old."

Hope I didn't bring the poor Bears more bad luck with this one!

By lz (Llamamama) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 02:13 pm:

Usedtobeayooper, Ouch! (And touche').

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 04:11 pm:

Please, someone delete my joke about the Bears! Didn't watch the game last night and just found out they played an outstanding game. Rex Grossman played a great game. Please forgive me, I have sinned, I doubted "DA BEARS"! Love dat Lovie!

By Happy to be in the U.P. (Lahelo) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 06:02 pm:

George Hite is a very lucky man indeed! Thank you Marsha, for the tidbit.

By David Soumis (Davesou) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 07:06 pm:

my first glance at the pic..wow, a Packers fan...good taste in sports teams.
What pro team do they have in Minnesota ????

Oh yea...the Vikings ... booooooooooo

By Ray Laakaniemi (Rlaakan) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 07:28 pm:

The University of Wisconsin pep band came to my brother's town for a summer concert. Between numbers, the MC asked if anyone had heard that Iowa had applied for an NFL franchise. He said the application went all the way to the Board of Governors, who decided against it. They felt if Iowa got an NFL team, Minnesota would want one as well.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 10:53 pm:

I agree! Not a Vikings fan but like them better than the Packers. They sure are pathetic though. Just like the Lions. For some reason I root for them year after year. At least they'll get another good draft pick this year. They might as well lose the final few games now.

By Danbury (Danbury) on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 - 01:46 am:

I don't get that. Here you are on the Pasty.Cam, looking at boxes full with supposedly delicious pasties, and you're discussing wall decorations?!? Football wall decorations???
Sheesh, I'd rather have a pasty than a football game. :)

Thanks for the link to George Hite's Journal. Especially liked this part: "That’s what friends are for, right?"
Right.

Marsha--
I loved that link too. So did my husband. Hope everything went
well for George at his appointment.
