Good morning from Mishawaka IN. - Where is everyone?

Yeah, where is everyone today? Shopping? Shoveling snow? Sleeping in? At church? Out to lunch? Sledding? Snowmobiling? Skiing? Ice-skating? Cross-country skiing? Four-wheeling? Boy, you Yoopers sure have a lot of things to pick from for entertainment!

Good afternoon! Goodness, was beginning to think you had a horrible storm and everything was shut down. Glad all's well. Have a happy Sunday!

Good afternoon from sunny warm Casper, Wyoming. 50's to 60's and no wind today. Looks like it's going to be another brown Christmas this year. I will have to come home to the UP for a white Christmas next year.

Hmm. By the looks of it, some sort of Christmas display?
Joanie: "But what would you do if you didn't have a car?" Make do without. Or get one - if possible. And necessary. Or find an alternative. Hitch rides. Move. Car pool. ...

Oops - seems I'm late. Arises a question - what are Bennie Babies?
By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Monday, December 11, 2006 - 07:54 am:
Danbury, Beanie Babies are little stuffed animals that have become quite the mania here! If I didn't have a car I'd walk like I used to in the olden days!

Jarmo,
I read the book a couple of years ago and yes, it certainly does affect you. I recommended it to several of my friends.

Thnx, Joanie.
That's what I do, too. Living in the city, it's no big thing. It also will last only until I've fixed my bicycle.
