Our trip down memory lane stops in Negaunee today, where Pasty Cammer Jonathan Hopper caught this sign for a local pasty shop.

I recall stopping at Grandma T's on one of my treks from Tech to lower Michigan. Some friends had asked me to fill a cooler with pasties. They didn't specify what size cooler. They ended up with 76 pasties and had neighborhood pasty parties for the next five years.

Of course, you can have your pasties delivered right to your door these days, thanks to the Internet and Pasty Central.

Thanks, Deb and Renee, for the goods thoughts for my health. It was my 6 month trip to the dematoligist to have my face checked. I get pre-cancerous spots and need to have them removed. This time they were on my nose and were frozen off. Now my nose will look strange for a week or so. Guess I need to move up to 45 in the sunscreen. The 30 hasn't slowed them down enough.
Deb, hope you made through the day without feeling worse than you did.

I use a 150 sun screen. You put it on and the sun goes out!
