Eight years ago, the Pasty Cam caught Matt and Gloria North of Dollar Bay taking off for a lively tour of Copper Country color. Today would be the day to motorcycle around -- there's a chance of snow each day for the rest of the week. Sounds like good weather to enjoy a Patsy Central pasty ...

I'm with Deb about riding a motorcycle this time of year...brrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Debrajean, how is your move to da UP going? I thought of you the other day, because Deb had sent me a video clip of dominos falling in a pattern...and it was done on Brunswick pool tables ;) Thought you would get a grin out of it.

A freighter, the Montrealais, dropped anchor in Bete Grise Bay about 2 hours ago. And the James B. Aird, pictured, just dropped anchor also.

The weather doesn't look threatening; any one have any ideas on why they are here?

xx

By Uncle Chuck @ Little Betsy (Unclechuck) on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 - 06:43 pm:

Yea, they heard Mrs. Bill is making meatloaf!lol

Nice Pic Bill, always enjoy the freighters

By Mr. Bill (Mrbill) on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 - 06:51 pm:

Mrs. Bill's meatloaf is like a Christmas fruitcake, you can't think of enough people to send it to.

Uncle Chuck, what's your address?

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 - 07:08 pm:

You are so lucky to be there to see that all the time.

By Ms. Katie (Mskatie) on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 - 07:41 pm:

Shame on you Mr. Bill!!!!!!!!! That deserves a dinner of Hamburger Helpper in MY home!...I'm SO envious of your position there to see all the ships taking refuge in the Bay. And I'm still looking for a chicken coop or dog house to rent in that area :>)
