Continuing our trek into the PastyCam past, eight years ago a group of Ontonagon students visited the Copper Country. Here they learn about Douglass Houghton at the memorial in Eagle River.

Today we continue with our mid-October wintry blast. While some bemoan the temps and the snow, some of us managed to get out on the cross country skis.

Good Morning from sunny and warm Florida

Good morning everyone :) Hey Charlotte, you mis-aimed your snow dance once again...we just got a sprinkling of snow here on Lake Michigan ;)

I got to go home to Michigan this past week :) Yeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw! I got to visit with Cheryl,her newest grandbaby, and her daughter...also visited with Mikie and Pennie...and some of my buds that I grew up with. Hated to return to Indiana.

Hopefully it won't be too much longer, until I am moved back home to Michigan :)

Renee, I didn't do my snow dance this week. Had to many things going on and really didn't know they were predicting snow until Tuesday night or Wednesday. Maybe if I'd done the dance it would have hit us. I did come to lunch on Thursday through a major snow off the lake. By the time I walked back (20 min.later) the sun was shinning and blue skies were above. The usual lake effect snow.
