Wow, we are getting pummeled with storms here in SW Michigan. On and off for a few days now. Leaves are falling fast, will not be much of a color show here this year.

Yup, with cooler, dryer air right behind the storms. Blue skies and sun here now, after almost an inch of rain last nite. It's the best time of year right now, baseball playoffs have started, football is in full swing and HOCKEY starts tonight! Oh yeah, the leaves are changing colors too. Have a great day everyone, we're heading for the UP tomorrow morning. Welcome back Mary.

Speaking of storms, we were hit by a nice little one the other night, with gusts up to a high 10, maybe 11 Beaufort. Made the house shake like the earthquake a while back. Unremarkable except for that and that for the first time in my life I saw stormdamage up close and personal - some sqm missing on the roof. Lucky it didn't rain until the fire brigade came at 0100 am, about 90 min after they were called because they had so much to do.
