Eight years ago, the Pasty Cam featured this shot (once again in Pastyvision) taken from Pasty Cam HQ in Eagle River.

The Keweenaw has a couple of more days of summer-like weather left, with temperatures expected in the upper 70s today. At Pasty Central and Pasty.NET, we're moving quickly toward opening the new kitchen and The Hut.

Good morning everyone :) The rain has finally stopped and the sun has reappeared, here on Lake Michigan. Looks like this weekend will be our final hurrah to summer.

Grampa Norm and I sat it the truck yesterday at the Great Sand Bay takin in some R&R, enjoying our treats from the Jam Pot, it was 74 degree's. I was wearing shorts & T shirt- FANTASTIC! Not sure where are travels will take us today, color's seem to be about 30-40%. Marty arrives tonight. We'll probably take a ride to Keystone tomorrow, check out the fire damage. All I can say to the reader's of Pasty.com is, IF YOU'RE NOT IN THE C.C. RIGHT NOW, GET U.P. HERE, IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have heard that full color should be the first week of Oct. which is perfect. After 6 wks of cardiac rehab I will be more than ready for a week of some RnR in the CC, and hopefully a meal at the HUT. Enjoy the day everyone!!

No the hut is not opened, but I will be up there the first week in October, and sure would like to see it opened. Cannot wait, and I also will be sitting in a vehicle overlooking the lake by the road side sign at SandBay. One of my favorite spots and don't care of it is 74 or 44 degrees. Just to be there is all that matters.

Ah, to be in Copper Harbor now that Autumn is near... My four-day weekend in Paradise is sadly in the past. I would like about 8 weeks vacation to take me from the ebbing summer to the first snows, and spend it rambling very slowly around the western UP.

Carole, I'm with you. I'll be there the first week of October too and love to just sit at Great Sand Bay and look.

I'll be there the week-end of Canadian Thanksgiving. I can hardly
wait. Not that I can feel too sorry for myself--I was there for the
Labor Day weekend. In truth, there's really no season that I don't
like to be in the UP.

I'm shooting for the 2nd weekend in October. See you all there!
