When I spotted these photos from Ray Laakaniemi, the oldies song by The Drifters - Under the Boardwalk - immediately popped into my head. Only thing, this boardwalk located along the Paint River in Crystal Falls is one you walk over, not under. It sure is a beautiful addition to the area and a great way to get some exercise, while enjoying the views along the way!

Ray, how did you get the Orange sky near Chicaugoan Lake so bright and detailed. that is a great shot as are the rest of your photos.

I just visited Crystal Falls for the first time with my dad last week.
What an amazing hill that is in the center of town. We saw the
boardwalk and stopped to check out and shop at Sommers'
Sausage Shop where we picked up some homemade beef jerky to
add to my son's care package to Iraq.

We tried to find Whey Dam on the way back to my dad's cottage,
but somehow missed it. Is it worth trying to find next year?
